AKA The Only Reason I'm Still on The Pill is for This Art Project is an ongoing project started in 2006, collecting inactive and expired pills from women in my community, and assembling them into artworks. I concluded the project in 2016, as the topics of birth control & reproductive rights became less taboo to discuss openly, and political conversations shifted to maintaining female bodily autonomy came into national focus.
