Pigment Book
Hand printed and found papers

Iron supplement tablets from women's birth control packs were collected over many years. They were crushed by force in a stone mortar and pestle into a fine powder. Suspended in gum arabic, the new rust ink was applied to handmade abaca paper. Opposite, walnut veneer as dollhouse flooring was inked and printed. The book documents various tests for using the birth control pigments as paint and inks.
